Urban Poling is very excited to announce the participation of our co-director, Mandy Shintani in the conference of the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA). The ICAA’s mission is to promote Active Aging as a solution to improving the quality of life for older adults. This Virtual Conference will be held from November 10th to 12th. Mandy Shintani, OT & Gerontologist, will have the pleasure of sharing her expertise in the area and will focus on the current research on Parkinson’s Disease. Mandy is a globally recognized speaker having presented in Australia, UK, Ireland, the USA, and numerous times over the past fifteen years here in Canada. Mandy is an occupational therapist, gerontologist, and founder of Urban Poling. Her mission is to inspire all Canadians toward active living and wellness through innovative pole designs and education.
