Global Reach and Shared Purpose

From May 25 to 27 in Phoenix, Arizona, the 7th World Parkinson Congress brought together thousands of people living with Parkinson’s, along with healthcare professionals, researchers, and movement specialists from around the world.

Urban Poling Inc. was honoured to take part and showcase our commitment to helping people with Parkinson’s improve mobility, balance, and confidence. Visitors from, Australia, the UK, Israel, Chile, Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico and many more stopped by our booth to learn more about our innovative Activator® poles.  It all begins with a healthy first step forward!

Collaboration in Action

We were proud to collaborate in the Movement Village with leading Parkinson’s organizations and trusted partners.  This collaboration highlighted the value of a coordinated approach to Parkinson’s care and support.

While exhibiting, it was also a pleasure to connect with notable members of the Parkinson’s community, including Larry Gifford President of PD Avengers, leader of When Life Gives You Parkinson’s Podcast, and member of Michael J. Fox Foundation Patient Council, George Ackerman, author & President of Together for Sharon, Denise Coley a PD Mover, a member of The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) Patient Council, and a member of the PD Avengers Wellness Committee, many Davis Phinney Foundation ambassadors as well as leads of Parkinson’s organizations from around the world!  Most importantly we appreciate everyone who took the time to stop by our booth and learn about the Activator® Poles and the numerous benefits of our program. We loved meeting you all and learning about your unique journies – thank you for enriching us with your company!

Movement at the Centre

Exercise was a central theme throughout WPC 2026, reflecting growing evidence of its role in Parkinson’s management. Through joint sessions and demonstrations with PWR!, attendees saw how Activator® poles can support posture, walking, balance, and confidence while making movement more engaging and social.

Looking Ahead

Urban Poling’s success at the Congress reflected the power of partnership, innovation, and shared purpose. By collaborating with all of our partner organizations we reinforced our role as a trusted leader in mobility solutions for the Parkinson’s community.

The Congress closed on an inspiring note, with a sense of optimism and connection that was felt throughout the event. The energy in Phoenix was remarkable, and the positive, forward-looking spirit of the community left a lasting impression.

That experience reinforced a clear message: the future of Parkinson’s care is collaborative, movement-focused, and centred on helping people live well with Parkinson’s. We are proud to contribute to that future and look forward to many more opportunities to connect, learn, and make an impact!
