Fight Diabetes with Urban Poling!

We are excited to introduce a new program we designed with Dr. Agnes Coutinho, PhD that is geared specifically toward those living with Type 2 Diabetes, pre-diabetes, or those at high risk for diabetes. “Fight Diabetes with Urban Poling” is available as an online course (click here for further information and to purchase), and it includes instructions and tips on the basic Urban Poling technique in addition to warm-up, work-out, and cool-down Urban Poling exercises. Urban Poling is a truly beneficial form of exercise for those living with or at risk for Type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes and we are excited to be able to share it with our community with this new course!
Keep your poles more upright and in front of you. Lean forward slightly, and use the poles to help push you up the hill. If necessary, bend your elbows, but remember to transition back to the straight arm technique at the top of the hill
