The Power of Active Living Outdoors – Trees Mend Us
On September 12th@ 12pm EST we will be hosting a webinar with a retired nurse who has chronic health conditions (systemic lupus & rheumatoid arthritis), is an Urban poling enthusiast, and a soon-to-be published author, Verla Fortier!
Verla is a big advocate for spending time outside in nature with trees and conducts research on how spending more time with trees makes us happier and healthier. Verla will be sharing her insights on how she’s experienced stronger and better health as a result of incorporating a set of poles into her lifestyle and we invite you to see what healthy living means to a happily aging boomer.
Date: September 12, 2019
Time: 12-1pm EST
Presented by: Verla Fortier
*Please note that if you register for this webinar but cannot attend, you will be sent a recording.*
When walking on snow covered surfaces, remove the rubber tips to expose the carbide tip which will provide better traction. Add snow baskets to prevent the poles from sinking deep into the snow.
