Urban Poling ACTIVATOR course for Rehab and Wellness Professionals

Did you know that there are over 100 independent studies available on PubMed that identify the benefits of walking with poles as it pertains to key factors for rehab?   These benefits include improved core strength, posture, balance and confidence for walking, reduced impact on lower extremities, and improved gait patterns.

The ACTIVATOR poles and technique were co-designed by our occupational therapist and are recognized as a highly effective evidence-based rehabilitation tool that clients are excited to use compared with other walking devices. The course covers the research, design, techniques and exercises for improving core strength, balance, ROM and pre-gait skill.
