Urban Poling Inc has been partnering with community centered organizations who are focused on improving the health & wellness of their participants since our company’s inception. We are thrilled at the the opportunity to partner with the JCC in a multi-site grant opportunity through the Parkinson’s Foundation in support of those living with Parkinson’s Disease. Through our accredited training program we can help to support your centers in getting an innovative program offering established for your communities which will help you to not only improve member participation but can also support increased membership if marketed accordingly.

The Parkinson’s Foundation funds programs that are impactful, sustainable, scalable and measurable. Urban Poling Inc. is pleased to introduce a program that has been designed in partnership with a group of institutions to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s Disease. This proven approach is based on the fundamentals of our evidenced based programs which have been recognized to support those living with PD improve balance and stability in addition to physical fitness & strength.
Community Grants - Parkinson's Foundation
Key considerations for successful grant acceptance is including communities or geographies in which under-served populations are in higher concentrations and addition to serving those more remote community members.
The 2022 community grant cycle will focus on programs that:
- Educate and deliver exercise specifically designed for people with Parkinson’s
- Reach the newly diagnosed
- Address mental health and Parkinson’s
